REVCOM is a volunteer organisation dedicated to the provision of communication facilities for various events, such as bike rides, horse endurance, carnivals, marathons and the like.
We are a registered charity and do not make a profit. Having said that we do expect that profit making customers contribute towards our costs.
We use car based private radio systems to communicate over distances up to 10 miles depending on the terraine.
We have had years of experience in using radios and assisting event organisers. We can pass this on in the form of training for your organisation, either by email, Whatsapp/Skype/Zoom or on site lecture sessions.
Joint Civil Aid Corps
We are associated with the JCAC and we assist each other at events.

You can be trained to use a PMR radio and run a checkpoint. You will mix with other members and enjoy the social side of being a REVCOM member.

We operate in a number of locations across the UK. We are always ready to help you form a team, so that you can support charities and similar organisations.

Please text the Chair on 07785508588 and say when you would like to be called.
We often carry out events lasting 2 or more days.
As events are usually summertime, we camp overnight either tented or bring a caravan
Teams will have accumulated many items of equipment over the years. On a typical event we may use mobile phones, PMR vehicle mounted radios, PMR 446 handhelds, PMR low band hand held radios, PMR high band radios, caravans, cars, and many smaller items.
Any new members will be loaned equipment and given training in it's use.
We use quite a lot of equipment of various types while carrying out our duties.
Teams will have accumulated equipment over the years, and are quite happy to share equipment with new members.
We have caravans, aerials, PMR radios, hand held PMR, batteries, cooking equipment, flags, signage and many other items.
